Zelda Williams Returns To Twitter In Style Following Online Abuse

Zelda Williams has finally returned to social media after leaving Twitter due to online abuse following her father’s tragic suicide.

Despite numerous messages of support, the 25-year-old quit Twitter on August 12, the day after her father’s body was discovered at his San Francisco Bay-area home.

On Monday Zelda posted the words ‘’thank you’’ on Twitter, linking them to a quote from actor and playwright Harvey Fierstein.

“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.”

Zelda left social media when at least two Twitter users sent her manipulated photos that were supposed to look like the pictures of her dead father.

“Deleting this (Twitter application) from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever,” she wrote on Twitter on August 12.
