Zac Efron Sold His Bachelor Pad

Actor Zac Efron has sold his bachelor pad which reminded him of his drug abuse hell.

The actor has recently revealed how he fell in love with the Hollywood Hills mansion when he bought it, but its position – between busy Ventura and Sunset Boulevard, made him an easy target for drug dealers.

The star, who checked into rehab during his substance abuse hell in 2013, told editors in an issue of The Hollywood Reporter, “That house was sort of in the middle of everything. It spit you out on one end on Sunset and on the other end onto Ventura Boulevard.”

“It was a great idea initially – concrete floors, metal windows – a great bachelor pad, in my opinion. But it was surrounded by windows, and at night people started coming up and tapping on the glass while I was asleep. It started to get a little bit strange.”

Efron and his brother have moved into a new bachelor pad in trendy Los Feliz, and his previous heaven-turned-hell mansion now belongs to someone else.

The property has been sold for $2.7 million (£1.7 million), after being listed in March 2014, according to

Efron has listed his ultra-minimalist home in the Hollywood Hills for $3.1m, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Hidden high above the trees of Laurel Canyon, the single-story home is a classic contemporary dream home.
