Why Idris Elba Is Not The Perfect James Bond According To Rush Limbaugh

In a slew of hacked emails from Sony’s servers, it was made public that Idris Elba is a 1st in line to be new James Bond. Not everyone agrees, though.

With his somewhat racist remark, Rush Limbaugh said:

“James Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming. He was white and Scottish. Period. That is who James Bond is. But now [they are] suggesting that the next James Bond should be Idris Elba, a black Briton, rather than a white from Scotland. But that’s not who James Bond is. I know it’s racist to probably point this out.”

Elba himself said that he is interested in being in Her Majesty’s service, he told one user at Reddit AMA:

“Yes, if it was offered to me, absolutely.”
