Jimmy Kimmel has sworn never to invite actress Vivica A. Fox as a guest on the US late night talk show again.
During the late night chat show Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Kimmel several questions the comedian wasn’t happy about. One of them was which celebrity he would never ask back. Kimmel replied, “You know, it’s funny because all the guests I would never invite back would never come back in the first place.”
Eventually, Kimmel revealed who it would be stating, “Vivica A. Fox was the guest. She may have been invited to Star Jones’ wedding and I may have asked her if I could be the date to that wedding and Star Jones may hate me and may have yelled at her and she may have been very angry when she (Fox) came back to our show.”
Funnyman became famous for making jokes about Jones’ weight issues and failed marriage to Al Reynolds. However Fox, who served as a bridesmaid to Jones in 2004, wasn’t happy about Kimmel’s jokes at her friend’s expense so once she arrived on stage, she said, “We usually have really great comical moments, but that’s my friend and I love her… It’s not funny to me, so let’s start over.”
Kimmel’s suggestion that he, Fox, Jones Reynolds and her husband get together was another failure to improve things, after Fox responded “You would get your a** kicked… I would have to take off my shoe and beat you down, brother!”
