Vince Neil Owns Stake In U.S. Football Team

Motley Crue star Vince Neil has become a part-owner of U.S. Arena Football League team Jacksonville Sharks. He also plans to move the team from Florida to his native Las Vegas.

He is part of an investment group who have bought the sports team and is very excited to move the Sharks in Sin city. Las Vegas hasn’t had a professional football team since 2012.

As he told the Las Vegas newspaper,

“It’s a great action sport growing in popularity with every game. There are some incredible players. I love the game. It will be perfect to have an AFL team in Las Vegas.
I sense the city would love it. I know that I will because it’s on my home turf.”

Arena Football League, was founded back in 1987. He hopes to move the club within two years.

By this, he joins the rockers from Kiss, who have launched their own AFL team, the LA Kiss, in 2013.

Another music star, Bon Jovi, was a part-owner of the Philadelphia Soul until 2010. The star is now reportedly in talks to buy the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
