Vin Diesel Confirms Fast And Furious 8

We all knew it was probably coming, but Vin Diesel has made it official – there is going to be another Fast and Furious movie. Diesel attended CinemaCon on Thursday and made the announcement himself.

“We’re gonna make the best movie you’ve ever seen,” he said.

According to him, the movie is expected to come out in a year and the projected release date is April 14, 2017. Of course Universal Studios would probably be crazy not to want to do another one after the success of the seventh installment this year.

A lot of the success might be due to the excitement of the fans, who wanted to see actor Paul Walker star in the movie franchise for the last time. Walker died in late 2013.

Also, we know by the posters released that the eight installment will take place in New York City, because the posters feature the Empire State Building in the background with the tag line “New City Even Vengeance.”
