The Man Who Rear-Ended J-Lo Finally Charged

The PEOPLE Magazine Awards - Arrivals

Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini are finally going to get some justice regarding the incident they were involved in back in September.

The two best friends and their children were all in the car when it got rear-ended on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The man responsible for the incident is finally going to have to face justice. Robert John Reitz, 53, had a blood alcohol concentration of at least .15 (remember, the legal limit is 0.08.) He is being charged with two misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence of alcohol.

If he is found guilty of the charges, Reitz could face prison time up to six months and a $1,000 fine.

Following the incident, J-Lo wrote a tweet describing what happened, with a series of rather amusing hashtaghs, like #theBronxcameout, #cursedthatfoolout , #leahstayedcalm and #thatwasweird. Judging from her tweets, it seems that it was clear at the time that the man who rear-ended them was drunk.
