Taylor Swift Made Tons Of Money This Year

So, Taylor Swift has had a pretty good year, all things considered. Sure, she went through a breakup recently, but she quickly rebounded and is in love again.

But when it comes to business, it’s business as usual. And business as usual for Swift means making tons of money. Forbes just named the singer the world’s highest-earning celebrity. According to Forbes, Swif tmade $170 million in between June of 2015 and 2016.

Most of that money came from her 1989 World Tour, which ended at the end of 2015. That tour made a total of $250 million when all was said and done.

And when it comes to challenging her money making prowess in the entertainment industry over the course of the year, no one even came close. Boy bandOne Direction finished in second place, and they made a total of $110 million, which of course they all have to share.

Swift even made more than power couple Jay Z and Beyonce combined this year! That’s a lot of dough.
