Taylor Swift Is A Cat Lady In The New Diet Coke Ad

Taylor Swift tweeted her new Diet Coke ad, which is not supposed to air until Friday, but apparently she was so excited by it she just couldn’t wait.

She tweeted that the ad is basically her dream world – with lots and lots of fluffy kittens all around.

One of them, the star of the video, is Swift’s own cat, Olivia Benson, who is now also an actress! Law & Order fans will probably notice that the cat is named after Mariska Hargitay’s character onLaw & Order: SVU.

The ad also features excerpts from a song that will be on Swift’s upcoming album, 1989. So this is indeed a big day for both the singer and her kitty – one with a brand new song and the other with a brand new career!

Speaking of cats, Taylor Swift was offended when John Cleese called her cat “weird” on The Graham Norton Show recently. She was quick to reply, though, calling Cleese’s overweight cat “a monster.”
