Second Set Of Twins For Roger Federer


Tennis star Roger Federer’s wife Mirka has given birth to another set of baby twins. The Swiss sport superstar and his lady welcomed sons Leo and Lenny to their family.

Tennis star took to on Tuesday, May 6 to share the happy news with fans. He said, “Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening!”

Roger hinted on Monday, May 5 the twins are soon to come, when he announced he had to withdraw from the upcoming Madrid Open tennis match in Spain on weekend May, 9.

The Federers are already parents to one set of twins, identical daughters Myla and Charlene. They were welcomed in the summer of 2009, only three months after the couple got married.

Federer also took to to announce his withdrawal, “I’ve decided to withdraw from Madrid to be with my wife Mirka during these next few exciting weeks for our family.”

“I apologise to my fans and hope to be back in Madrid next year. I’ll be training near my home, and am excited to rejoin the Tour soon!”

But with Roland Garros being only 19 days away, Federer’s chances of appearing at the year’s first grand slam have significantly increased, although he seems likely to miss Rome Masters scheduled for the next week.
