Sean Penn Interviews El Chapo And Gets Him Arrested

In what is the weirdest piece of news we have heard this year, Sean Penn did an interview with the notorious drug baron El Chapo and inadvertently (probably) got the man arrested.

The whole story is still a bit unclear, but it is definitely crazy. Namely, back in October 2015, while Guzman was still on the run, Sean Penn found a way to interview him at his jungle hideout. It was a difficult task, but Rolling Stone and the actor were really committed to making the interview happen.

Now that El Chapo has been apprehended after years of escaping both Mexican and U.S. authorities, there are rumors flying around that it was the interview which contributed to his arrest.

Like we said, it is all very unclear.
