Rob Kardashian Narrowly Escapes Diabetic Coma

This Sunday, Rob Kardashian was rushed to hospital after feeling under the weather the entire weekend. The doctors diagnosed him with diabetic ketoacidosis which came as quite a surprise to Rob who didn’t have a clue he was diabetic.

Diabetic ketoacidosis is a complication which can be potentially life-threatening if it is not diagnosed and treated straight away. It is often the first time that people realize they have diabetes and it can cause vomiting, deep gasping, dehydration, confusion and can lead to a coma.

Rob was diagnosed in time, got the treatment he needed and was released soon after. The doctors gave him the instructions on how to eat and behave in order to try and put his diabetes under control, which may even cause it to go into remission.
