Presidents Are Allowed To Have Fun Too!

U.S. President Barack Obama showed off his skills for comedy at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night when he put on a joke-filled stand-up show.

Celebrating the 100th birthday of the White House Correspondents’ Association, celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Jessica Simpson, Lupita Nyong’o and Sofia Vergara had dinner with politicians and journalists.

The president was a big hit when he took the stage and poked fun at a number of hot issues, including the troubled launch of his administration’s health care concept, and even TV network Fox News’ attempts to discredit his efforts.

He said, “Let’s face it, Fox, you’ll miss me when I’m gone. It’ll be harder to convince the American people that Hillary (Clinton) was born in Kenya.”

He went on and joked about his recent drop in popularity, adding, “In 2008 my slogan was ‘yes we can’. In 2013 my slogan was ‘control + alt + delete’.”

And he also aimed at CNN bosses for their endless coverage of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight, adding, “I am happy to be here even though I am a little jet-lagged from my trip to Malaysia. The lengths we have to go to to get CNN coverage these days… I think they’re still searching for their table.”

The host of the gala, Joel McHale, also had fun when he took aim at Clinton and Donald Trump’s potential presidential runs in 2016.

Using Trump’s hairstyle, he said, “People are asking, ‘Will Donald Trump run again?’ And the answer is, ‘Does that thing on his head c**p in the woods?'”
