Oprah Honors Robin Williams


Numerous celebrities have paid tribute to Robin Williams and the famous TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey was the latest to pay her respects to the beloved actor and comedian.

Williams appeared 14 times on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Oprah decided to air the late actor’s first and second interview on her talk show.

In the first hour, “a candid Williams … shares deeply personal stories about filming Good Morning, Vietnam, his early childhood and more.”

In the second episode, Williams talked about his popular movies, drug abuse and fatherhood:

“Ranging from silly to sentimental, the … actor opens up to Oprah about everything from drug abuse, what being married to him is like, fatherhood, working on the feature films The Fisher King and Dead Poet’s Society, his creative inspiration and his thoughts on aging and turning 40.”

Oprah thanked Williams’ for all the great interviews last week.

“Just watched BIRDCAGE and #LOL’d a lot. Thank you Robin for all the great interviews. We had some doozies. #R.I.P.,” she wrote.
