Michael Jackson Makes History Again

Even though he has been deceased for some years now, the King of Pop is still making history. He has just received his 29th top 10 hit in the US, which makes him the only solo artists in history to have top 10 hits in every decade for five decades straight.

A posthumous release from Jackson called Love Never Felt So Good, featuring Justine Timberlake, has made it onto the Billboard Top 100 and is currently at number 9 on the charts. Jackson scored his first top 10 single back in 1971. Got to be There was the name of the song and it also landed at number 9 on the charts back then.

He has also spent more time on the Hot 100’s top ten than any other solo artists with a combined total of 42 weeks within the top 10 with a song of his.

This new single dropped a couple of days after Jackson appeared as a hologram during the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. It was something that everyone was talking about this week and thanks to the hologram appearance, he is back in the charts.

So, who else is in the charts this week? Soul singer John Legend is still staying strong and is at number one for the third week straight with his hit All of Me. Currently, rapper Iggy Azalea is at number two with her hit Fancy and Ariana Grande’s song Problem is at number three. So technically, Azalea is at number two and three, since she is featured on Problem as well.
