Mary-Kate Olsen And Sarkozy Bought New Home

Former child star-turned-fashion mogul Mary-Kate Olsen and her alleged fiancé Olivier Sarkozy have bought a new home in the turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York for $13.5 million (£8.44 million).

This is not the couple’s first home together. They also have a place in Manhattan’s East Village in 2012. Unfortunately, they offloaded the home in less than a year without ever having lived in it.

According to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, the couple has bought a mansion with a private garage, a ballroom, five bedrooms, an elevator and artist’s studio.

It is said to be ideal for the designer, following recent reports she was planning to move in on a more private, secluded home with her fiancé.

She was unhappy with the East 10th Street townhouse she and Olivier bought in New York City in 2012 because it didn’t feel safe enough, and they soon sold the property despite never moving in.

“Mary-Kate was not happy with the house, it was not private enough for her,” a source said.
“She needs a garage or something with a more secure entrance.”

Olsen has been the subject of increased paparazzi attention since it was reported that she and her partner are engaged and she’s been walking around with a diamond ring worth over $80,000.
