Madonna Tried To Shock Met Gala Bosses With Bandages?

On Monday night, Madonna put the organizers at Costume Institute Gala in New York on high alerts, when she announced she would be wearing only a thin layer of bandages on the red carpet, only hours before the event was due to kick off.

The star made a habit of shocking with her fashion sensibility at the annual event. She took to her page and revealed her preparations for the gala and what she was planning to wear.

The superstar’s clothes appeared to be a loose-fitting mummy outfit, which left her breast entirely exposed.

Over the picture, the star posted a red label which read, “Censored”, and captioned the photo, “What i wanted to wear to Met Ball but Anna said Not this year! So I’m gonna work on music instead?”

Anna is a reference to U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who oversees the Met Gala.

Meanwhile, a male person kicked off this year’s Met Gala with the attempt to gatecrash the red carpet.

The unnamed exhibitionist was wearing nothing but a pink mankini and a gold chain. How stylish!

Iron Lady Anna Wintour arrived first in 2013 Chanel haute couture. She sported an illusion net neckline in a dress with petal-like fabric with an allover black lattice pattern.

Gala co-chair, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, opted for Oscar de la Renta, a black bodice and petal-like peplum with voluminous white skirt. Of course, she also donned the opera-length gloves of the white-tie dress code.
