Madonna And Miley Together For Art For Freedom

Pop icon Madonna will team up with controversial singer Miley Cyrus after she had asked the young star to guest curate her online Art for Freedom project.

The two stars will collaborate and choose the daily submission on the website.

Madonna announced the news about their collaboration on Wednesday, April 2nd, saying,

“There has never been a more crucial time to participate and help create change in the world. I’ve been so inspired by people’s submissions since we began and I welcome Miley’s input along with her fans to express themselves artistically and to share their creative ideas on the subject of human rights and freedom of speech.”

“Miley and I look forward to hearing your voices in the format of your choice throughout the month of April and onward.”

Miley excitedly added,

“I’m glad to join Madonna in encouraging people to have their voices heard at It’s an ideal home to see how each of us can participate in changing the world for the better.”

The couple will select the winning submission and present a $10,000 (£6,250) fund to a charity of the winner’s choice.

The two worked together before when Miley asked the pop queen to join her MTV Unplugged show for two songs in Los Angeles in January.

For the occasion they sang a mash-up of Miley’s We Can’t Stop and Madonna’s don’t Tell Me they wore matching glittery cowgirl costumes.

Art For Freedom project was launched in September 2013. In January 2014, the curator for the project was Katy Perry.
