Lesley Gore Dies At Age Of 68

Famous gay singer Lesley Gore died at the age of 68.
She lost her battle with cancer and passed away at New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Monday, February 16, her long time partner Lois Sasson confirmed. Lesley become famous at early age of 16, when she when she shot up to fame with her hit “It’s my party”, under the influence of infamous Quincy Jones.
Her other famous hits include tracks like “You don’t own me, She’s a fool, Judy’s turn to cry and of coure, Lollipops and Rainbows. She also got a brief encounter with acting and even got nominated for Oscar but failed to win. She will be sorely missed.
