Lawyer Says Tracy Morgan’s Brain Injury More Severe Than Thought To Be

Five months after the car accident in which Tracy Morgan was injured and one of his friends was killed, Morgan’s lawyer says that it is uncertain whether the actor and comedian will ever go back to being his former self.

Morgan filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart, Inc, whose truck was involved in the accident that took place on the New Jersey Turnpike in June. The lawyers met in New Jersey to schedule a hearing and Morgan’s lawyer, Benedict Morelli, said that Morgan is still recovering from the injuries he sustained.

He said that the brain injury was particularly severe and, as it happens with such injuries, it is very difficult to tell how long it’s going to take to recover and whether a full recovery is even possible.

The SNL and 30 Rock star was returning home after a show in Delaware on June 7 when his limo was hit by a Wal-Mart truck. One person was killed and three were injured in the accident.
