Kylie Minogue And Kylie Jenner Fighting Over Their Name

In what appears to be one of the most bizarre catfights celebrity news have ever seen, Kylie Jenner has found herself under the attack of Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, who claims that the world is only big enough for one “Kylie.”
On February 22, 47-year-old Minogue filed a notice of opposition to the 18-year-old’s application, claiming approval will cause confusion amongst audiences and completely dilute her brand. Minogue is currently the proud owner of trademarks for “Kylie Minogue Darling,” “Lucky – the Kylie Minogue Musical” and “Kylie Minogue.” The documents also point out that Minogue owns trademark rights for “Kylie” as far as both entertainment and music recording is concerned.
In fact, the “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” singer went a step further when she openly slammed Jenner by calling her a “secondary reality television personality” who does nothing else but draw the attention of the public because of her celebrity family.
We can’t help but agree with Minogue, but it would appear this is just the beginning of a long and tedious court battle. Jenner has also recently filed papers to trademark “Kylie” under entertainment services, so one thing’s certain – it’s going to get hairy!
