It’s official, Katy Perry is the highest-paid woman in music this year. According to Forbes’ new list, the 31-year-old pop star blew her competition out of the water with an incredible $135 million in 2015.
She earned most of her money through endorsement deals with Covergirl, Coty and Claire’s Accessories and her Prismatic world tour, which ended in October. In 2014, Perry placed fifth on this list, earning a total of $40 million. Taylor Swift landed in second place with her annual earnings amounting to a mere $80 million, which means that Perry is ahead of her by more than $50 million.
Still, it’s an improvement for Swift since Forbes’ 2014 list estimated her yearly earnings to be around $64 million. Beyoncé, last year’s highest-paid woman, was awarded fifth place this time, earning $54 million.
