Katy Perry To Play Halftime Of Super Bowl

According to The New York Post and Page Six reports, Katy Perry is currently negotiating to perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show on Feb. 1.

“A deal is being hammered out for Katy to play the Super Bowl.”

The gorgeous singer is a contender to play the big stage, along with music greats such as Coldplay and Rihanna.

However, on ESPN, Katy talked about the alleged NFL scheme pay to play, and said she wouldn’t give money in order to perform on the Super Bowl stage.

“I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl.”

The halftime show is sponsored by Pepsi, which has previously worked with Perry to promote her film “Part of Me,” so we guess their cooperation would yet again be extremely successful.

Billboard has stressed out that Perry, who has an astonishing 55.4 million followers on Twitter, “has a big gap in her tour dates around the Super Bowl” and seems like the best choice to perform at the show.
