Josh Duhamel Turns Volunteer And Cleans Up Park

Actor Josh Duhamel got his hands really dirty when he was helping New Yorkers clean up Franz Sigel Park. It was a part of a new volunteer initiative.

On Saturday, April 12, the Big Apple’s park was cleared of litter by the hands of the actor. He also hauled new soil and woodchip material to invigorate the inner-city park in the Bronx area.

The action was part of a painkiller company Advil’s Relief in Action drive. It promotes volunteer services across the county.

The actor said, “Rather than putting on a suit and going to events, I wanted to actually do something, and Advil’s Relief in Action is really about getting people to participate in the community and we’re hoping people will pledge… to volunteer.”

Duhamel is a husband of singer Fergie.

He met and began dating singer Stacy Ann “Fergie” Ferguson in September 2004, after Ferguson appeared on Duhamel’s show Las Vegas with her famous band, The Black Eyed Peas.

The couple married in 2009, in a Roman Catholic ceremony at the Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu, California.

They have one son, Axl Jack Duhamel, born on August 29, 2013.

Both Duhamel and Fergie are Catholic and attend church regularly.

In 2005, he became the co-owner of 10 North Main, a restaurant in Minot, North Dakota, which features dishes such as lobster and pheasant.
