Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner Passes Away At 74
After falling ill a week ago, Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner has passed away at the age of 74.
He was passionate about science fiction and politics, both of which inspired him to write timeless classics such as “White Rabbit” and “Volunteers.” After falling extremely ill earlier this week, he was administered to a San Francisco hospital, where he succumbed to organ failure and septic shock.
Paul escaped death twice before. His first brush with death happened in the early 60s when he survived a motorcycle accident and then when he recovered from cerebral hemorrhage twenty years later. Rest in peace. You will not be forgotten!
