There have been long standing rumors about Jay Z and Beyoncé working on an album together, and it seems that it is actually happening. The scoop was revealed at the Grammys, where producer Detail, who worked on Beyoncé’s hit “Drunk in Love” told the media that his is going to be involved in the album.
The most powerful couple in music have made songs together and have even toured together, so making an album together seems like the next logical step.
Talking to Billboard, Detail said ““I’m working with a couple of new projects that I don’t want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year.”
Detail, who won his first Grammy for “Drunk in Love,” added that when you think of Jay Z and Beyoncé together, “you think ‘album,’” which should cement the rumors.
It was earlier reported by DJ Skee, back in September of last year, that Jay and Bey were looking to release their joint album either in late 2014 or in early 2015, but there have not been any official statements released by the couple yet.
