Jane Fonda Is Huge Fan Of Spanx Creations

Actress Jane Fonda has credited her friend Sara Blakely’s Spanx creation for making her look and feel good and toned on the red carpets at the Cannes Film Festival.

The movie star and Blakely became friends at the time they were both living in Italy. She admitted the undergarment icon has changed her life.

She told the Hollywood Reporter, “I wear Spanx on the plane, under pants. I wear waist-cinching Spanx. I also wear a Spanx bra… You get used to it.”

The actress, also a political activist and philanthropist, revealed for The Hollywood Reporter in Cannes that she is currently writing a novel titled Amanda’s Secrets.

“Writing a novel scares me,” she said during an interview at the famous Martinez Hotel.

“I’ve never done it, so I thought, ‘Well, I’m going to do it.'”

However, this movie veteran is no stranger to writing.

She has already has published two best-selling memoirs, My Life So Far in 2005, and 2011’s Prime Time.

She declined to reveal any more details, so it stays unclear whether she is already working with a publisher, or if the novel has a release date.

She added, “I’m not going to tell you what [the novel is] about.”
She is currently in Cannes on behalf of her work as a L’Oreal brand ambassador. She has been very busy lately.

In addition to writing, she signed on to reunite with her 9 to 5 co-star Lily Tomlin in Grace and Frankie, a Netflix comedy show from creator of Friends, Marta Kauffman.
