Good Girl Amy Poehler Gives Seat To New Mum

Actress Amy Poehler showed her kind and humane side when she gave up her first class ticket on a flight from Los Angeles to New York to a mother and a child, according to a U.S. report.

The star noticed the woman with a child struggling with her luggage. She decided to give her her bigger seat and after some convincing, the mother agreed.

A source told Star magazine, “The woman kept refusing the offer, but Amy wouldn’t budge. She literally had to push the mom into her first-class seat. It was really sweet.”

The woman accepted Poehler’s kind gesture and the actress sat in an aisle seat in coach class.

The source also said, “She took pictures with the other passengers and joked around. Everyone loved her.

Poehler could sympathize with the travelling mum as she herself has two young sons, aged five and three, with her estranged husband, actor Will Arnett.

More on Amy news, comedy fans should hold their breath for a sequel to camp movie-parody Wet Hot American Summer. Then, they should be amazed when the rom-com-parody They Came Together hits cinemas and VOD on June 27.
