George Clooney Shocks NY Comic-Con Crowd With Surprise Appearance

Hollywood superstar George Clooney appeared at a New York comic book convention and amazed his numerous fans. He showed up at the convention only days after his wedding with gorgeous human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin in order to promote his upcoming film Tomorrowland, joking that he is aware he is on his honeymoon.

“It’s not lost on me that I’m spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con.”

Newly-wed George also said that his wife was confused about what a Comic-Con actually was.

He was delightful as ever and even made jokes about his role in the 1997 Batman movie.

“Since my Batman, I think I was disinvited to Comic Con for 20 years. I met [original TV Batman] Adam West back there, and I said, ‘Hey, I’m really sorry.'”

Clooney was joined on the panel by Tomorrowland co-writer Damon Lindelof, British actor Hugh Laurie and two of their young co-stars.

Tomorrowland opens May 22, 2015.
