George Clooney Can’t Get Enough Honors

George Clooney is gearing up to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the next Golden Globe Awards for his “outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.”

The President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Theo Kingma, stated that he will be honored at the Golden Globe Awards this January.

“The HFPA is honored to bestow the Cecil B. DeMille Award to George Clooney to celebrate his outstanding contributions both in front of and behind the camera.”

Clooney is set to marry his British lawyer fiancée Amal Alamuddin in September. Despite rumors that they will tie the knot in Venice, Italy, fans and media have been waiting outside of the Chelsea Registry Office in London, England where he is also rumored to marry soon.

During an acceptance speech in Italy, the actor gushed about his lawyer fiancé.

“I would just like to say to my bride-to-be Amal that I love you very much and I can’t wait to be your husband.”
