Gaga Selling Rolls Royce For Good Cause

Pop star Lady Gaga is saying farewell to her red Rolls-Royce Corniche III convertible to benefit the MusiCares charity.

The luxury car, in which she went to Manhattan’s Guggenheim museum in September 2012, will be auctioned off at the upcoming Julien’s Auctions Music icons, Legends and rebels sale in New York.

When it goes under the hammer on May 17, the car is expected to sell for a sum between $30,000 (£19,000) and $50,000 (£31,250).

The bidding will take place at the Hard Rock Café auction. Among other lots there will be one of Gaga’s favorite Philip Treacy hats and a stage worn piece.

The auction will put to sale George Harrison’s 1962 Rickenbacker guitar, a Paul McCartney-used Hofner Bass guitar, Elvis Presley’s onstage jumpsuit, U2’s With Or Without You MTV Award and Michael Jackson’s handwritten lyrics for legendary song Billie Jean.

Gaga will probably buy a new one, but thumbs up for the idea.

She has bought the most expensive mansion in Scotland for $10 million (£8 million). The house is spread in the area of 200 acres. After all, it has to be extravagant when its her mansion.

The lavish Scottish castle has 60 rooms and has a 1,300 square-foot ballroom with three kitchens. The Yester house was built between 1699 and 1728, and it was owned from the 1970s by Italian-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti, who died in 2007.
