Earth, Wind & Fire’s Maurice White Dies And The World Gets Sadder

There are news that just bum you out, truly making the world a sadder place and the news that the lead singer of Earth, Wind and Fire Maurice White died is just the type. The world got just a tad bit worse for losing Maurice, whom you could never see without a huge smile on his face.
Earth, Wind & Fire gave us some of the biggest, most uplifting hits in modern music, from Shining Star to After the Love has Gone, from September to legendary Boogie Wonderland. You may think they were corny or lame, but these songs made the world better. Maurice died in his sleep after battling Parkinson’s for more than two decades. Rest in peace.
