Chris Pratt Shows Huge Muscles For GQ Men Of The Year

18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards - Backstage And Audience

Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is featured in the 2014 ‘GQ’ Men of the Year issue, along with Ansel Elgort, Shailene Woodley, Dave Chappelle, Michael Sam and Steve Carell.

The Parks & Rec hunk shows off his huge bicep in a tight black tee while posing for the magazine and reveals some details from his private and professional life.

For instance, although many people thought he was overweight to play Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Pratt didn’t have a problem with his weight.  But the Hollywood heartthrob didn’t stay fat for long.  He got ripped and said that he loves the challenge of getting in shape.

He also told GQ that he has an urge to direct and that he hopes to get behind the camera soon.

“I’m always biting my tongue. When I’m on set, I kind of wish I could just tell everybody what to do. If I could tell everybody what to do, it would be great, and it would be done faster. And so that’s what I’m working toward. I want control. I want control over something. I have to get better at writing, because the stuff that I have written, no one bought. Maybe they’ll buy it now, because they can put my name on it, but I’d be in a bad movie that I wrote. So I just want to make sure that I stay working hard. I think I will. I hope I will.”
