Celebs Friends And Family Say Goodbye To Joan Rivers

The funeral for late great comedian Joan Rivers was held at a New York synagogue. The funeral was attended by many celebrity friends and family, many of which delivered touching eulogies and tributes to Rivers.

Rivers died last week at the age of 81. She suffered a heart attack after suffering from complications related to a surgery she had the week before to correct problems related to her vocal chords.

Of course, there were many famous friends attending the funeral. Some celebrities who were seen at the event included Sarah Jessica Parker, Ozzy Osbourne and his daughter Kelly, Whoopi Goldberg, Howard Stern and Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman might have been the most unexpected guest, especially considering the fact that he closed the ceremony with a song. In tribute to River, the actor sang “Quiet Please, There’s a Lady on Stage.”

Radio and television show host and notorious shock jock Howard Stern also gave a very powerful speech about Rivers, calling her a pioneer who fought against stereotypes all her life.
