A white man entered a historic African-American church in Charleston, S.C., on Wednesday, June 17, and shot the people gathered at Bible study, killing nine people and injuring one.
The man’s name is Dylann Roof (21), and he reportedly entered the church and spent about an hour sitting among the people there before he started shooting. Among the deceased is Reverend Clementa Pinckney, a South Carolina senator. The shooter is still at large and the police are asking for help from the public. FBI is also joining in on the investigation, and the shooting is being treated as a hate crime.
Celebrities have immediately started expressing their grief over the event, with Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton canceling the events planned in the area as part of their presidential campaign, and countless stars taking to social media to share their thoughts and feelings.

The media should be ashamed. 3 hours to get on air and then gives detailed suspect description WITHOUT mentioning his race. #Charleston
