Bullock Receives Decades Of Hotness Title

Actress Sandra Bullock has been given an absolute ego boost at the time she approaches her 50th birthday. The star was named the 2014 honoree for the Decade of Hotness prize at the Guys Choice Awards.

The Oscar winner, who will celebrate the milestone birthday on July 26, will follow in the footsteps of her colleagues Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron, when she accepts the Spike TV achievement on June 7.

Casey Patterson, Spike TV executive, told People.com, “We’ve been courting Sandra so long for this award that she was eventually going to say yes or take out a restraining order.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be honouring Sandra Bullock with our Decade of Hotness award. She is as ridiculously talented as she is beautiful and our audience adores her.”

Sandra, who has recently scored her second Oscar nomination for her role as Dr. Ryan Stone in 2013’s critically acclaimed hit movie Gravity, will be honored alongside Emily Ratajkowski, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and many more at the Guys Choice Awards.

She has recently settled a lawsuit against the maker of a watch advertised as the one worn by the actor in the film The Blind Side.

Bullock sued ToyWatch USA in 2012 ago after the company began promoting the diamond-encrusted white band timepiece as “the Sandra Bullock watch” and the “Bullock watch”.

The company said it was identical to the one worn by her character, Leigh Anne Tuohy, in John Lee Hancock’s 2009 drama.

In the suit she filed at a Californian court, she alleged her publicity rights have been infringed and also flagged up concerns her name and image might become over-saturated.
