Bieber And Lil Wayne Join Mayweather, Jr. For Fight Night

Justin Beiber and rapper Lil Wayne helped escort boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the ring in Las Vegas to fight Marcos Maidana on Saturday night, May 3.

The famous boxer prepared for the fight by hanging out with his celeb friends in his dressing room at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Pictures of the strange trio were posted on Bieber’s and accounts, because one is not enough, only minutes before the singer and the rapper joined the boxer for his walk to the ring.

The rapper performed his newest song Believe Me as he was walking with his friend. The boxer previously posted a picture of the rapper recording the song with Drake, on Saturday morning.

In the audience, other celebrities were cheering for the fighter. Rick Ross and 2 Chainz escorted him to the pre-fight weigh-in on Friday, May 2.

Meanwhile, R&B star and actor Tyrese Gibson performed the U.S. National Anthem prior to the fight. They said, “This is on behalf of a racist-free America.” It was a reference to a recent controversy surrounding Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who made some pretty nasty racist comments in a leaked audio interview with an ex-girlfriend.

Maywheather, Jr. won the fight by majority decision.

“This was a tough, competitive fight. This is what fans want to see,” said Mayweather after Maidana landed more hits than any opponent in 38 fights.

“I want to give fans an exciting fight. Normally, I box and move. Tonight, I gave fans an exciting fight.”
