Artie Lange In Trouble For Racist Tweets

Howard Stern Show regular Artie Lange has gotten in trouble for tweets he posted recently on his official account.

He started talking about ESPN2’s First Take host Cari Champion, talking about racist and sexist things he would like to do with her.

Lange began his tirade talking about how he found Champion attractive and how he would like to have sex with her. But the tweets escalated quickly, once Lange started bringing race into the equation. He mentioned sexual fantasy scenarios in which she would be one of his slaves on his plantation.

ESPN has stated that the tweets here completely inappropriate and called his comments” reprehensible” adding that “no one should be subjected to such hateful language.”

Lange realized that he was in hot water and apologized for what he said.

He tweeted “sorry to whoever was hurt by the tweets. I will keep some jokes to myself. It’s a different world.”
