Are Selena, Demi And Justin The New Generation Of Pop Superstars?

Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake were the biggest stars in pop music in the early 2000s and though the three of them are still present in showbiz, they are nowhere near as popular as they were when they ended things with Disney and started dominating the charts. Of course, that’s somewhat understandable since the fabulous trio is now older and more dedicated to their personal lives than to the spotlight.
That also doesn’t mean that there are no more pop superstars nowadays. Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber are the first celebrities that come to mind when speaking of the new generation of superstars and they have not only achieved superstardom but also share a resemblance with the power trio from the 2000s. And this has never been more obvious than at the AMAs on Saturday, which were marked by their unforgettable performances.
But that’s not all. There’s also the romantic aspect here: Justin and Selena were one of America’s sweethearts, just like Britney and her Justin back in the day, and their fans are still rooting for them to get back together, which isn’t that unlikely when you think about everything that’s been happening between them lately. The only thing that’s missing is the beef between Selena and Demi (Christina and Britney were not exactly BFFs), but we think that’s a good thing. So, are Selena, Demi and Justin the new Britney, Christina and Justin?
