Amanda Bynes Will Likely Stay In Involuntary Confinement For A Whole Year

Since Amanda Bynes isn’t getting any better, the 28-year-old actress will reportedly have to spend one year in involuntary confinement, but this time her parents won’t have a say in the conservatorship, according to TMZ.

Namely, sources told the website that her doctors are trying to get an LPS Hold which will allow them to confine her and administer medications against her will.

‘’The plan is to get an LPS Hold, something a judge will grant at the behest of doctors but only if the patient is ‘gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism.’’’

The troubled actress is reportedly furious at her parents for tricking her into getting committed into psychiatric care. Sources tell TMZ that Amanda said her relationship with her family has been ‘destroyed forever.’

She was taken to hospital on Friday and put under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours that will now be extended for a further 14 days.
