All-Time WWE Great Bret Hart Is Cancer Free

Wrestling fans all around the world know just how tough of a guy Bret “Hitman” Hart is, so it should be no surprise that the WWE legend has beaten cancer.

He made the announcement today on his Facebook page, stating that he kept his promise that he would fight the disease with every ounce of his strength. The news was also confirmed by another legend, former WWE announcer Jim Ross.

One of the biggest celebrities of the wrestling world, Hart said that he was lucky that he caught it in time. The former wrestler said that he had been going in for regular checkups and he was lucky that the doctors caught the prostate cancer in the early stages. He had his prostate removed two weeks ago.

According to Hart, prostate cancer can be pesky, so he is going to keep monitoring it and getting regular checkups, urging all men to do the same. He is now on the road to recovery, saying that it usually takes in between eight months to two years to recover fully. We are willing to wager that the Hitman is going to recover fairly quickly.

It is with great remorse that I feel compelled to speak truthfully to my friends, family and my millions of fans around…
