People tend to like to keep their celebrities in boxes.

We don’t want our comedic actors doing drama. We don’t like our singers to act, and we definitely don’t want our actors singing.

That last one is the worst, despite what the Germans think about David Hasselhoff. We liked him better in Baywatch where he was saving people. Well, not just him, but you know what I mean…

There are some actors that can actually sing, and they’re not afraid to show it. Here are some of them:

1. Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington has got herself a set of major pipes. The Scandal temptress recently sang “A Whole New World” with Jordin Sparks at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards proving that she can indeed hang on the mike.

This is not her only collaboration, Washington co-directed and appeared in the music video for hip-hop artist Common’s song, “I Want You”, the fourth single from his album “Finding Forever”.
