7th Heaven Star Stephen Collins Confesses On Tape To Child Molestation

The 67-year-old actor Stephen Collins, best known for portraying a sweet minister dad, Reverend Eric Camden, on ‘7th Heaven’ for 11 seasons, has allegedly admitted to a number of child molestation counts.

He confessed to the child molestation on tape during couple’s therapy. Namely, he and his wife Faye Grant are going through a tough divorce and her lawyer advised her to tape the confession in therapy. Collins allegedly told Faye about the molestations in 2012.

According to TMZ, he didn’t know that he was taped.

On the tape, Collins is heard talking to Faye and a therapist about exposing himself to girls under the age of 14. One, who is thought to be a relative of his first wife Marjorie Weinman, was 11 years old when the molestation began and it continued when she was 12 and 13.

“There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis.”

He also talks about another girl in New York who was 12 or 13 at the time.

Since the girls were under 14, Collins’ alleged acts are violent felonies and the New York police are now conducting a criminal investigation, the Daily News confirmed.
